Starr King Elementary School is a lively, student-centered and ethnically diverse community located atop Potrero Hill. We offer four programs to incoming families: Pre-Kindergarten, General Education, Mandarin Immersion and and a Moderate-Severe Autism-focused Special Day Class. Our student body of 340 students is supported by more than 50 staff members in 20 engaging classrooms, and a robust after school program.

Project Description
Modernization of existing Starr King Elementary School campus which includes classroom and multipurpose buildings.
- Construction of new addition to classroom building
- Complete accessibility requirements which include but not be limited to new accessible toilet rooms, accessible doorways, accessible stair handrails, drinking fountains and classroom sinks
- New life safety features to include automatic fire alarm system
- Voluntary structural upgrade to existing buildings
- Renovation of building interiors
- Recoat and restripe existing play yard
