Principal's Message

Dear Families,

I hope this finds you all healthy. What an exciting month we have had so far!

Yesterday, the whole school went on a field trip to the Marin Headlands. It was an amazing experience. This is a science and nature trip, where students apply what they have been learning in science classes. Check out the photos on our website!

In a couple of weeks, we will be hosting parent-teacher conferences. Please make every effort to attend this conference with your child's teacher during this time. Teachers will have a lot of information about your child's academic and socio-emotional development. You will receive a notice from your child's teacher to schedule a meeting time.

In the month of March we will also be working on our site budget and site plan for next school year. Please be on the lookout for meeting dates and information. The meetings are open to all. The SSC/ELAC committee as well as the entire community will have the opportunity to give input to next school year's site plan.

I have been looking at student data and see our students are making very good academic progress. I want to give a HUGE shout out to our MEC teachers and staff. They are so dedicated and have all been working tirelessly to create the best conditions for learning. AND, huge THANK YOU to you for supporting your child at home.

SSC (School Site Council) & ELAC Meeting- Budget & Priorities

On March 8th from 6:00-7:00 pm, we are going to hold our SSC & ELAC meeting. And also, below is the link for our survey. The purpose of this survey is to get your opinion about our programs; and your ideas or suggestions to begin making our academic plans for the next school year. Our interest is to continue with the programs that have given us excellent results and reinforce others that we can improve. It is very important that you submit the survey before March 7.
