Principal's message
Dear Parent and Guardians,
It is a pleasure to welcome you and your child to Mission Education Center and school year 2021-2022!I hope you and your child are settling into the school and that it has been a great start.
Classes begin daily at 8:40 AM. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays classes end at 2:55. On Wednesdays, classes end at 1:40. Please be sure to arrive on time. Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria beginning Monday. Breakfast time is from 8:20 to 8:35. If your child has not eaten breakfast, they are welcome to eat here at school. Hot lunches are served daily.
MEC is a healthy school. Please refer to the Wellness Policy you received when you registered here at school. Please do not send cookies, sodas, Juices, chips candy etc.
The weather is unpredictable here. Some days it’s cold, some days it’s hot. Please send a sweater or jacket with your child.Masks are required for everyone in the building. Please send your child to school with a mask every day.
Our school enrollment is very low. I know that it has taken a long time to get your child registered for school. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Due to the pandemic, all district departments are taking precautions to maintain everyone’s health and safety. Now that you are here,I hope you find our school to be warm and welcoming. We are here to support you and your child as you transition to this country and new educational system. Please let us know if you have questions, concerns or need our assistance.
