Longfellow Elementary School, located in the outer Mission district, builds on a tradition of 139 years. Project Description
Scope of work is general modernization including but not limited to:
- New elevator. New windows. New teacher lounge
- Renovation of main office, classrooms, kitchens and existing restrooms
- Installation of new finishes including floor, wall, and ceiling finishes
- New fire alarm system, lighting, phone, data and low voltage systems
- Exterior and interior door replacement
- Partial voluntary seismic upgrades
- Hazardous material/asbestos remediation
- Two new play structures at yards. Site work
- Utility connection and utility disconnect for temporary interim housing
