Alternate ELPAC: Initial and Summative

                                                    ALTERNATE ELPAC GENERAL INFORMATION

The Initial AND/OR Summative Alternate ELPAC tests are administered to kindergarten through grade twelve students up to age 22 with the most significant cognitive disabilities who have an English Language Acquisition Status of English learner and who have been determined eligible to take alternate assessments by an individualized education program (IEP) team. A current, affirmed IEP must specify Alt ELPAC for Initial and Summative. A Decision Confirmation Worksheet must be used by the IEP team determine eligibility. The test must be administered by a  certified (annually), site-based teacher who works with the student and understands their communication style.
