More than half of students meet or exceed state standards for math and English Language Arts

The California Department of Education (CDE) has released the results of the 2018 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) for English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics. Last spring, more than 28,000 SFUSD students in grades 3 to 8 and 11 took these state assessments.
