Coaching is optional, confidential, and non-evaluative. Coaching includes an intake session, three observations and debriefs and three additional virtual coaching sessions.

Monthly Paraeducator PD Workshop Sessions
All paraeducator classifications are invited to our monthly PD series! This includes workshops, guest speakers, summer employment opportunities, and more. Attend one, some or all sessions. Topics will be posted monthly in OASIS. No pre-registration needed. For more information, email Sean Nunley-Willis.
Workshops are on the 4th Wednesday of the month (with a few exceptions) from 3-4pm on Zoom: https://sfusd.zoom.us/j/87135384840
Compensation: Paraeducators can -
- Attend during contract hours if applicable
- Utilize any remaining 18 PD hours
- Attend voluntarily
Asynchronous Training Modules for Special Education Paraeducators
Special Education Services has contracted with Vector Solutions to provide all our SpEd Paraeducators with a training platform that they can access asynchronously. The SpEd department has created an account for each of our active SpEd paraeducators so they can have access to 105 different training topics. Training topics are listed on the left corner of the Vector website under “Extra Training.” If you are unable to log in, please email Lawrence Tsai at tsail@sfusd.edu to be added.

Paraeducators can use Prop G hours if they access training after their contractual hours. If Prop G hours have been used for SY23-24, you can request pre-approval from their SpEd Supervisor to submit for EC hours.
