Review this 12th Grade Presentation(link is external) for important exit information for seniors

  • Graduates will receive 10 bids for the graduation ceremony.  Bids must be presented to enter the ceremony.  All individuals (including lap infants and small children) must have a bid to attend graduation.  
    • Bids will be withheld from students who have not returned all textbooks and devices, have not paid library fees/dues, or have outstanding athletic uniform debts.  
  • Graduation will be live streamed and recorded.  Link: TBA
  • Lifetouch photographers will be present at ceremonies to take photos of students crossing the stage and with their diploma covers once exiting the stage.  Links and QR codes to order photos will be provided to each school to share with families.  To access your photos after the ceremony, access code TBA!

Senior Finals Week: 5/19/2025 - 5/23/2025

As students complete their finals, they need to return textbooks to their teachers, pay all outstanding library dues, return any team uniforms to the athletic director, return SFUSD technology to a STAFF PERSON in the bookroom.

(students who have not returned these items will not receive their bids until items have been verified as returned)

**Please note:  This is the same week as makeup AP Exams, seniors that need to makeup an AP Exams will need to reschedule conflicting senior finals with their teachers.

Week Before Graduation: 5/27/2025 - 5/30/2025

Checkout Week Information:

Tuesday

Attend class as normal, make up senior finals (if needed)

  • Clear out lockers
Wednesday

Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal with Cap & Gown Distribution

  • Lowell Football Field (Attendance will be taken)
  • Time:  2:30pm - 4:30pm
Thursday

Senior Picnic

  • Clear out lockers, continue to return items to teachers
  • Return all borrowed Lowell locks to your registry teacher
  • Last day to clear out locker
  • Return all missing items and clear any debts to the school
Friday

Bid Distribution (graduation ticket)

  • Registry teachers will be distributing bids to students in their regular registry classrooms
  • Time:  TBA
  • Bids will NOT BE GIVEN to students who:
    • Have not returned textbooks
    • Have not returned elevator fobs
    • Have not paid all outstanding library dues
    • Have not returned any team uniforms to the Athletic Director
    • Have not returned SFUSD technology to a STAFF PERSON in the book room

Graduation Day: June 2, 2025

2025 Graduation information:

Monday, June 2, 2024, 8:45am-11:00am

Location: Kezar Stadium

  • Student Drop off starts at 7:45am
  • All guests (even small children) must have a bid to enter.  We would like for the graduation ceremonies to be held with the utmost respect for our graduates. The following items are not allowed at any ceremony:
    • Signs/placards
    • Balloons
    • Air horns or vuvuzelas
    • Confetti/confetti cannons
    • No animals with the exception of certified service animals
    • Food/beverages or alcohol
    • Fireworks
  • For Livestream viewing:  TBA
  • Entry to the venue will be at Frederick St. & Willard St. (Main Gate) and Arguello Blvd. (West Gate)
  • Ride Share + Family drop off & pick up zones:
    • Zone 1: Frederick St. between Willard St. and Arguello Blvd
    • Zone 2: Stanyan St. (southbound in front of Kezar Pavilion)
    • Zone 3: Willard St. (northbound at Arguello Blvd.)
    • Zone 4: Kezar Dr. (eastbound at Arguello Blvd.)
  • MUNI Service:  Bus lines 7, 43, 66, Train N
  • Event Parking:
    • Golden Gate Park has free street parking
    • Kezar Lot (hourly rate; limited spaces)
    • UCSF Milberry Union Garage (hourly rate; limited spaces)
    • UCSF Central Parking Garage (hourly rate; limited spaces)
  • For pictures of students, Lifetouch will be taking pictures of all graduates crossing the stage.  Visit events.lifetouch.com and sign up to receive notifications when your photos are available.  All students will be photographed, and pictures will be online 2-6 weeks after the ceremony.
    • To access your photos after the ceremony, text the code TBA, Lifetouch will send you a link when the photos are ready to view & order!

Important Dates:

**Dates subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Wednesday, 5/28/2025: Rehearsal at Lowell with Cap & Gown distribution
  • Thursday, 5/29/2025: Senior Picnic
  • Friday, 5/30/2025: Graduation Bid Distribution
    • Students who have turned in all books, technology, uniforms, have paid for all lost or missing items, etc. will receive their bids.  All students will receive graduation bids from their reg teachers after clearing out their lockers and confirming they do not have any outstanding bills or items from the school.
  • Monday, 6/2/2025: Graduation

CAP & GOWN ORDERS:

The window to order Cap & Gowns has closed.  Cap & Gowns will be distributed at graduation rehearsal on May 28, 2025.  For the students and families who did not get their orders in, Josten’s staff will bring Cap & Gowns of various sizes to graduation rehearsal and we will try to accommodate as best as possible.
