SFUSD is pleased to offer a free text messaging service called Ready4Learning for K through 2nd grade families. Ready4Learning sends tips to family members to use with their children. SFUSD is working with ParentPowered to provide this service to SFUSD families.

Summer 2021 hiring and program planning is in full swing. Please remember the following protocols for summer positions: Any employee that is working in a summer program must be placed in a Summer position. Extended calendar is not allowed for work that is being conducted in a Summer program.

The San Francisco State University Chinese Bilingual Added Authorization Program is an approved California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) program that gives credentialed tK-12 educators the opportunity to earn a Bilingual Authorization in Cantonese or Mandarin.
November 13-15, Nearpod will be offering “Camp Engage,” a free, web-based conference offering a series of webinars for educators new to Nearpod (e.g. “A Beginners Guide to Nearpod”), as well as more targeted offerings for veteran Nearpod users (e.g. “Build SEL Skills with Nearpod”).
