How Can I Volunteer and Get More Involved?

Family involvement builds a stronger community and has been proven to help students do better in school! 

Our RP school community is wonderful because of volunteers like you! There are many ways to be involved (many w/ minimal, flexible commitments).

Attend an event! Volunteer in the classroom! Donate a snack! There are many ways to be involved. There is something for everyone!

Help keep drop-offs running smoothly and safely. Each class will be responsible for a rotation, but we welcome anyone anytime!

Help put together all the fliers for the weekly Wednesday packets for all our students.

Classroom Volunteer

 

Help with copy, sort homework folders, provide snacks or volunteer in the classroom.

Library

 

Help sort or organize books.

Field Trips

 

Help chaperone field trips such as visits to the Academy of Sciences or the Symphony.

Contact local businesses that support public schools or other fundraising programs that can make extra money for the school.

Help set-up, tear down, take photos, prepare food, or provide instruction during games. Donate mochi rice, paper plates, or zip-loc bags.

JBBP Gala and Auction

 

Several committees are needed to organize, food/drink and auction items. Coordinate a classroom art project for the auction. Volunteer beforehand or on the night for the main fundraising event for the JBBP program.

 

A Saturday evening in March, St Mary's Cathedral

 

Cherry Blossom Festival

 

Help organize the parade, pop popcorn during the weekends before the festival, help sell popcorn at the booth. JBBP performs on stage, marches in the parade and has a booth selling popcorn.
