A Williams Complaint allows a student, family, teacher, or any member of the public, to file grievances regarding K-12 schools for:
Insufficient textbooks and instructional materials;
Teacher vacancy or misassignment; and
Facility conditions.

MENSTRUAL EQUITY FOR ALL ACT NOTICES
The Menstrual Equity Notice has been updated to reflect changes in the law. For the 2024-2025 school year, all schools with any students in grades 3-12 must post “Menstrual Equity for All” Notices in every language required at the school.
These notices are required to be posted in every location required to stock free menstrual products. This includes:
- Every girls’ bathroom;
- Every all-gender bathroom; and
- At least one boys’ bathroom.
