Counselor Chats

Hello Mission Bear Parents & Guardians!

Our amazing Mission High School 9th to 12th Grade Counselors invite you to their "Counselor's Chat Parent Meetings," during the 2024-25 school year! 

Enjoy a cup of coffee and light breakfast refreshments as your student's counselors review helpful school resources and strategies so they can have a successful school year!

Look for meeting announcements in your email and on our school homepage during the school year!

Topics will include:

  • Graduation requirements
  • Understanding transcripts
  • Study skills and academic support services
  • Health and wellness resources
  • Social/emotional learning
  • Extracurricular activities & clubs
  • College and career resources and more! 

Translation assistance will be provided in Spanish and Chinese.  SFUSD District interpreters ask that you please bring your cell phone charged along with an earpiece or earbuds, so you may hear the interpreter's translation through your cell phone. 

If you would like to request translation assistance in another language please email our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Varnado at varnadob@sfusd.edu.  We ask that you please send your request 10 days in advance.

Parking Reminder: Parking is limited in our school parking lot so please be sure to plan ahead.
