I am beginning my 35th year coaching softball, basketball, volleyball and track. After teaching Physical Education at Francisco for 30 years and retiring 6 years ago, I still look forward to developing our students every day. I believe sports teaches our athletes discipline, commitment, self-confidence, sacrifice, respect, along with many more attributes. My biggest joy is watching our players learn a new sport and/or improving their skills to make their high school team. In addition, having former players come back to coach or having their own kids play for me is very special too.

My  name is Felipe Segovia, I joined Francisco MS 7 years ago and I have made a commitment to inspire, motivate and make everything possible to see the students be involved in Sports. Working with Adults and High school & Middle School students as a Physical Education teacher , Track coach, personal trainer and Boxing coach, I’ve seen the development of youth from academics,  develop self-esteem & confidence to a more active lifestyle and growth overall as a young person.
