The Balboa Youth Outreach Workers (YOW's) are a small cohort of students that works directly out of the Wellness Center with the CHOW (Community Health Outreach Worker) and the Youth Outreach Coordinator (YOC).
YOW's collaborate with the CHOW/ YOC on organizing events and presentations reflective of Balboa student needs. They participate in trainings and youth conferences in the bay area. YOW's receive a hourly rate for up to 70 hours for their participation in the program.
