Principal Bennett Lee

Bennett Lee has served as McCoppin's principal since 2001. Our school has seen continuous improvement in its academic performance throughout his time as principal. McCoppin is a thrice-decorated Title I Academic Achievement Award school. In 2011, the school was named a California Distinguished School and it made the Honor Roll in 2017. Mr. Lee closely oversaw the complete renovation of the school in 2018, ensuring this remodel delivered the beautiful school campus we enjoy today.

We are a small school, but despite our size, McCoppin offers education to its students with the latest and best practices aligned with state standards. During his lengthy tenure as principal, Mr. Lee has built an amazing team of teachers and staff, bringing experience, energy and collaboration to our kids.
