After School Care (OST and TRNC)

McCoppin hosts two after school care programs that cater to our diverse community. In addition, we offer VillageSports, an after-school enrichment program that families can sign up for on its own or in addition to one of the other two programs.

We want families to make informed decisions that best meet their needs. We hope this provides some clarification:

Program operates Mondays-FridaysFull time enrollment – 5 days per week

1 sport - once a week

2 sports - 2x a week

3 sports - 3x a week

4 sports - 4x a week

5 sports - full week of different sports

Sliding scale, families pay $0 - $550 / month (no deposit)Sliding scale, families pay $0 - $650 / month
(No deposit needed for subsidized families)

Price: $210-240

Scholarships: Once 10 kids are confirmed we allow 2 scholarships, if 15 kids are confirmed we allow 3 scholarships. Once 20 kids are confirmed we allow 4 scholarships. 

Morning care is offered on campus by TRNC, 7:30-9:15 daily.
After School care is offered daily 3:45 PM - 6:30 PM (2:30 -
6:30pm on Wednesdays).

Year Round Program

School day hours :

3:45 - 6:00pm (M/T/TH/F)

2:30 – 6:00pm (Wed)

Spring Break & Summer hours : 8:00am – 6:00pm

All year round. 

7-8 weeks seasons (4 seasons a year)

(M/T/TH/F) 3:45-4:55

(Wednesday) 2:30-3:45

Homework assistanceEnrichment activities, academic support / homework assistance

Curriculum:

Check In (Bathrrom, Snack, Change if needed): 15 min

Warm Up (Typically what the coach does to warm up before training): 15 min

Exercise One: 10 min

Exercise Two: 10 min

Scrimmage or Tournament: 25 min

 

 

Enrichment programming includes outdoor activities,
multicultural children's arts, wellness (sports & nutrition), STEAM, and Social Emotional Learning.
Enrichment activities include drama, world dance, physical fitness, sports, visual art , gardening.

Soccer

Basketball

Pickle-ball

Ultimate Frisbee

Flag Football
