We are a warm community of passionate educators and families who are focused on providing a supportive learning environment for all students. We emphasize experiential, project-based learning that helps prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century by integrating technology, social-emotional learning and multi-sensory approaches in our curriculum.

Extended School Year Means More Learning!

Argonne's school year starts in July and students participate in approx. 20 additional days of instruction. Teachers have more time to focus on providing enrichment activities and project-based learning, while students stay more engaged with their learning throughout the year.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Early Release at 12:50 on November 18-22nd. Parent-teacher conferences provide families with important information on their children's academic and social-emotional progress. Students are dismissed at 12:50 p.m. every day from Monday, November 18th through Friday, November 22nd.

Back To School Night

Join us on Thursday, Sept. 5th from 5-7pm
All are welcome, no RSVP required! Back to School Night is an event for families and teachers to come together and learn about their child's classroom and what's to come in the year ahead. The library will have info tables where families can explore and learn more about Argonne, the PTO and various PTO-funded efforts.

New Orientation for Kindergarten and TK Families

On Thursday, August 15th at 8:00 am we are having a special TK and Kindergarten orientation to ensure your child gets a chance to meet their new teacher and see their new classroom before the school year starts. Starting elementary school is a big transition, and we're here to make it as easy as possible.

    School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs) are required by state law and are intended to provide families with important information.

  • School Accountability Highlights

    Published annually by SFUSD to provide access to key data points and three-year trends related to student achievement and school culture-climate. The highlights are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Filipino, and Vietnamese.

  • Social-Emotional and Culture Climate Report

    SFUSD annually surveys families and school staff on a range of school climate indicators that have been found to predict positive student academic achievement. The social-emotional learning of students in grades 4-12 is also assessed.

  • School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)

    School communities gather twice a year to review data and previous actions in order to intentionally plan for the coming months. The School Plan for Student Achievement is the template on which this review and stakeholder engagement process is codified.
