2024-2025 AAA Middle School Sports

Overview

A.P. Giannini competes in the San Francisco Unified School District Academic Athletic Association Middle School Division. All students are encouraged to try out for a team. Participation on an athletic team is a privilege and student-athletes need to represent the school in a positive manner. To be eligible to try out for a team, students must have a 2.0 Grade Point Average as well as the athletic physical forms filled out by doctor within the last year.

The Athletic Director and coaches will let students know when try outs are for each sport. Students MUST have a physical in order to try out. All team uniforms are provided by the school and need to be returned at the end of each season. If students lose or damage the uniform, they are expected to pay for its replacement. Practices are every day after school until 5:30pm. Coaches will let parents know the time and place of practices and games. Students are dismissed when the games and practices end and must have their own way of getting home. Students are responsible for making up any missed classwork or homework due to athletic competitions.
