Join Educator Edition: Advocating for Your Black Child (A4YBC), a free two-part online series designed for educators serving Black families (Elementary to High School) with mental health, neurological, and/or learning disabilities.

Please join us at SF Jazz on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 6 p.m.-8 p.m. for a free screening of a documentary about the dangers of drug use. This is a feature-length documentary, tailored specifically for high school students, parents/ caregivers, and school staff.

Next year, there will be new high school interim assessments for reading and math. Star Reading and Star Math will be administered in lieu of Reading Inventory (RI) and Math Milestone Tasks (MMT's).

The summer meals program serves free healthy breakfast, lunch, or snack to anyone 18 and under, regardless of income from June 5 to Aug. 16.

The summer meals program is a Federal meal program that school districts can operate. It is part of the USDA’s National School Lunch Program. Learn more about Summer Meal sites in SFUSD.

The required Gr K-2 Spring 2024 Star Administration ends on May 17. Teachers will administer the Star Early Literacy assessment to all Kindergarten students, and Star Reading and Star Math to all grade 1 & 2 students.

In an effort to establish a deeper understanding of the contract process, Procurement will provide training opportunities as indicated below. The Superintendent is expecting at least one member from your school or department to attend one training (because all training within the current month is the same). The person who drafts the contract needs to be in attendance. Please share this PD opportunity with your relevant staff.
