On Thursday, June 24th, 2021 from 8:00am to 4:00pm, contracted vendors will be performing annual maintenance to our backup battery systems in the data center at 555 Franklin. These batteries provide our data center with redundant power to keep our network systems and servers functioning in the event of a PG&E power outage.

To prepare for a smooth transition to EMPowerSF, our district must pause from performing functions in PeopleSoft beginning June 11.

Introducing the new Google Chat! Google is sunsetting Hangouts/Gchat (instant messaging tool) and replacing it with Chat, which offers many improved collaboration features. On June 15th, 2021, all SFUSD accounts will be switched over to Chat.

We are excited to announce that beginning next school year, all SFUSD employees and students will have a district-issued Apple ID. This account will be accessed using the same username and password as one’s SFUSD Google account.
