Jefferson ES Scholastic Book Fair

Dear Parents and Families:

Reading is the most important skill you can teach a child. Of all the skills children learn, it is the one you can influence the most. Giving kids the opportunity to choose books will motivate them to read more. And like most acquired skills, the more kids practice reading, the better they’ll get.  We invite you to visit our Scholastic Book Fair to get involved in a universal mission: encouraging kids to read every day so they can lead better lives. Since there will never be a substitute for a parent’s direct involvement in his/her child’s education, please make plans to visit our Book Fair.

Shopping Hours for Parents:

• Thursday, December 17, 8:40 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
• Friday, December 18, 8:40 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Students will visit the Fair with their classes during the week of December 14-18 according to this schedule:

• Monday: 212, 205,111, 206
• Tuesday: 208,101,108, 202,105
• Wednesday: 207, 204, 110,
• Thursday: 106, 102, 210, 104, 103
• Friday: 213, 201, 209, 203

Please consider sending your child with cash or a check so they can purchase books during their class visit.

閱讀是你可以教導孩⼦最重要的技能，亦可被⽗母影響最深的。讓孩⼦有機 會選擇書籍將⿎勵他們更愛閱讀，越多練讀越進步。  誠意邀請你來參觀書展。我們都知道沒有什麼能替代⽗母對孩⼦教育的直接參與。  書展訂於12⽉14⽇⾄18⽇舉⾏。  

家⾧訪展時間：

• 星期四，12⽉17⽇上午8:40⾄下午3:15
• 星期五，12⽉18⽇上午8:40⾄下午4:30

⽼師領學⽣訪展的時間安排：

• 星期⼀：212、205、111、206課室
• 星期⼆：208、101、108、202、105課室
• 星期三：207、204、110課室
• 星期四：106、102、210、104、103課室
• 星期五：213、201、209、203課室

請考慮給孩⼦⼀些錢買書。我們接受現⾦及⽀票。
