Jefferson ES Donate to the 2019 Auction

Dear Jefferson Community Friends,

Jefferson Elementary School’s Gala & Silent Auction will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019. This annual, PTA-sponsored event is a special opportunity for our families and staff at Jefferson to gather together, to strengthen our school partnership and community.

With that said, due to continuing cuts to our school budget, the fundraising component of the Gala & Silent Auction
is increasingly critical to maintain the quality of education at Jefferson. Our fundraising supports the following:

• maintenance & upgrades to our school garden
• sustaining our arts program through funding artist consultants for drama, dance, music, poetry, drawing, and ceramics
• technology maintenance and upgrades
• professional development for our teachers
• funding of our literacy coaches who assist students needing additional reading support field trips
• supplemental materials to enhance our students’ learning
• replacing worn-out, outdated classroom furniture with new replacement furniture that supports our students’ different learning abilities

We could really use your help to support our school by donating an item for our silent auction, and more importantly to help us continue all of our wonderful programs at Jefferson. In return, not only will we acknowledge your donation in our gala & auction catalogue, but also our school website as well.

Ideal auction items include: gift certificates/gift cards, gift baskets, services, tickets, monetary donations, and merchandise.

For your convenience, a donation reply form is enclosed. If you prefer not to deliver your donation to our school, one of our staff members or parent volunteers will be happy to pick it up, or the winner can come directly to your place of business to pick up the prize.
