School Site Council (SSC)
The SSC establishes policies regarding Daniel Webster’s academic programs and determines the school’s budget. Elections are held in the Fall for parent representatives to the SSC. There are 8 elected members, serving for 2 years each. The SSC is made up of parents, teachers, and community members. . English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
ELAC is a committee for parents and other community members who want to advocate for English Language Learners. The purpose is to advise the principal, school staff and the School Site Council (SSC) on programs and services for English Language Learners. Elections for officers are held in the fall.If you are interested in serving on the ELAC, pease contact the Family Support Specialist, Anneliese Carter at sch497@sfusd.edu
Other Volunteer Opportunities
