Learn storytelling in a program developed by award-winning Pixar veterans and the creators of Pixar in a Box.

Come to the annual Support for Families Information and Resource Conference on Mar. 18! This is a free conference for families of children with disabilities, the professionals who work with them, and community members. 

Middle and high school teachers, learn more about the Asian Americans who fought for civil rights that benefited all who call America home on Mar. 22. This in-person event will feature prominent Asian American Studies luminaries who fought to include Ethnic Studies and AAPI studies in our schools. It will also present multimedia resources and highlight ways to incorporate them into classroom learning and provide an opportunity for teachers to share the experiences and challenges of teaching AAPI history in the classrooms.

Certificated teachers, attend a virtual information session on Mar. 7 at 4:30 p.m. to learn more about teaching secondary health education.

Free performances available for Grades K-3 from New Conservatory Theatre Center. Based on the bestselling book Puppy Mind by Andrew Nance, this short interactive play invites students to join in the fun.

SFUSD is partnering with Vision to Learn (VTL) to provide free eye exams and glasses to elementary, middle and high schools. Priority will go to schools that have a 50% or higher free and reduced lunch eligibility. However, VTL will support as many schools as they have the capacity to support.

May is National Foster Care Month, and SFUSD’s Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program is honoring students and supportive adults during the annual End of Year celebration. Nominate a foster student and/or supportive adult for an award!
