The San Francisco Board of Education voted to adopt new Language Arts core curricula for Grades PK-8 at its special workshop meeting on Tuesday, March 26. The new curricula will debut in the 2024-25 school year.

SFUSD is proposing a change to the Lowell Admissions Policy that will have SFUSD students and non-SFUSD students taking the same test as part of the admissions process for Lowell High School.

Required Gr K-2 Spring 2024 Star Administration is Apr 22-May 17. Star assessments can optionally be administered in Grade 3-8 ELA and Math classrooms. NEW! All grade 6-8 Science and Social Studies teachers have access to view Star assessment data via the Renaissance platform.

Join us this Friday, Mar. 29 for Lalaga Le Ato (Weaving the Basket), an event which brings together 5th & 8th graders in the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Community as they prepare for their academic transition to 6th & 9th grade in the fall.
