Our cultural celebrations include Lunar New Year Assembly and Parade of Nations performances.
Cultural diversity promotes respect and open mindedness. These qualities lead our students on the path to becoming global citizens.

Moscone emphasis on the arts supports students with movement and self expression to develop creativity and inventiveness. Offerings include:
- All students at Moscone participate in movement and dance classes throughout the year, culminating in a dance performance at the end of the school year.
- An on-site visual arts teacher works with students throughout the year.
- 4th & 5th graders take instrumental music.
Computer Science and Math Link to this section
Moscone's STEAM Program for all K-5 students encourages critical thinking and communication skills, and aids in sensory development. It includes:
- Family Math Day - our annual math themed carnival
- Computer Technology - 1-1 devices for each child
Other Academic Enhancements Link to this section
- A physical education teacher works with students throughout the year.
- Our Librarians read with classes weekly and weave on-line literacy into instruction.
- Reading Support:
- A Reading Recovery teacher supports struggling readers in the lower grades.
- Our Upper Grade Literacy Support teacher works to ensure that 3rd - 5th grade students continue to progress with academic language and accessing grade level content.
- All classes enjoy learning outside of the classroom on field trips.
