Introduction
Cycle of Inquiry Portfolios
DLeaFs will be using the DLeaF Cycle of Inquiry Portfolio to demonstrate how implementing digital tools in learning environments can positively impact student outcomes. By centering our attention around a small selection of focal students, DLeaFs are able to tell a clear story of how changes and supports affect those students’ journeys through the school year.
The DLeaF program is structured to walk participants through the portfolio process, which includes documentation, data collection & analysis, and reflection. Each section of the portfolio will be supported by Cycle of Inquiry consultancy protocols at our virtual meetings that will provide DLeaFs with checkpoints, feedback, and next steps.
Our intent is that this process is completely relevant to your daily work. We hope it will help your students engage more deeply with something you already need to teach them, so they can demonstrate even better outcomes. We hope the reflections will enhance your own growth and that the community nature of this process will help you feel supported and invigorated.
