Future Educator Project

Some Interns work with children ages 4-5 at SFUSD Early Childhood Education sites throughout the City. Locations include but are not limited to: Carver, Commodore Stockton, Frank McCoppin, Las Americas, Leola Havard, Noriega, San Miguel, Theresa S. Mahler, and Zaida T. Rodriguez. Some Interns will work with children in grades K-5 at SFUSD elementary schools in Out of School Time (OST) programs. Interns will work with children in the classroom, assisting teachers and students in learning and reviewing class material. Check out some of our interns on ABC7 who are part of our Mission Educator Project. The Summer 2025 Interest Form is open through February 28, 2025, for current SFUSD high school students only.

Some Interns work with children in grades K-5 at SFUSD elementary schools in their after school and summer enrichment/camp programs. Interns work with children in the classroom and on the playground, helping them to find new ways to stretch their imaginations. Some CBO partners include: ASEP, BACR, Boys & Girls Clubs, CYC, Jamestown, Mission Graduates, R.O.C.K., TelHi and YMCA.
