Greetings MLK Families,

Winter Break

Winter Break will be from 12/23/2024 to 01/03/2025. School resumes Monday 01/06/2025. MLK MS wishes everyone a safe and wonderful winter break! 

Reading Reminder: Please remind your child to read everyday! Your student should be reading 4 to 5 days a week for 30 minutes. If your child needs books, please check books out  from the public library. 

Yearbook Purchasing

Hello MLK Families,

Yearbooks are currently on sale for $30 but prices will rise to $35 in January, so buy your yearbooks before prices increase! If you would like to personalize your yearbook, namestamping starts at $8.50 and must be purchased online before January 24th. To avoid the online service fee, we are also accepting alternative payments such as cash, Venmo, and cashapp. If you would like to buy a yearbook using the alternative payment methods, please use this google form.

Parent Submitted Absences through ParentVUE

Starting in the 2024-25 school year, parents/guardians can use the ParentVUE App, to enter a FULL day absence via the ParentVUE portal on their mobile app or desktop site.

Vacaciones de invierno

Las vacaciones de invierno serán del 12/23/2024 al 01/03/2025. La escuela se reanuda el Lunes 06 de enero de 2025. ¡MLK MS les desea a todos unas vacaciones de invierno seguras y maravillosas!Finalización del período de calificaciones

El primer período de calificaciones termina el 20 de Diciembre de 2024. Si su hijo falta al trabajo, recuérdele que consulte con sus maestros para ver si necesita entregar algún trabajo.

Recordatorio de lectura: ¡Recuérdele a su hijo que lea todos los días! Su estudiante debe leer de 4 a 5 días a la semana durante 30 minutos. Si su hijo necesita libros, sáquelos de la biblioteca pública.

Hola familias de MLK,

Los anuarios están actualmente a la venta por $30, pero los precios aumentarán a $35 en enero, ¡así que compre sus anuarios antes de que aumenten los precios! Si desea personalizar su anuario, el estampado de nombre comienza en $8.50 y debe comprarse en línea antes del 24 de enero.
