Dianne Feinstein School is a dynamic learning environment which provides a well rounded education for ALL of our students. Each and every stakeholder plays an integral role in our school's success. We seek open communication with the community to continually improve our school. The education we provide empowers children to fully interact in our world with integrity and confidence. We expect that everyone in our community treats others and our environment with compassion and respect. We foster trusting relationships among students, staff, family, and community members.
We provide cooperative learning experiences and offer enrichment activities that encourage student independence and positive interaction. We have many school programs that work toward supporting our students, including an UMOJA cultural diversity celebration, anti-racist and inclusive practice, and a partnership with Lincoln High School Teacher Academy students who volunteer at our school while earning high school credits. We have a number of evening and weekend community building and education programs such as Art Night, Family Learning Nights, garden work days, a carnival, and an annual Gala and Auction. CommUNITY Circles start off our Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with patriotic exercises, classroom share outs, singalongs, and our pledge of respect.
