After School Program
R.O.C.K.’s after-school programs provide a stable environment for kids to relax while also receiving homework assistance if needed. At El Dorado Elementary School, R.O.C.K. provides quality after-school programming to children in the area. Additionally, kids get to participate in fun activities, including recreation, reading club, frisbee classes, cheerleading, gardening, swim lessons, cooking, dance, technology and more!

R.O.C.K. supports our school El Dorado in many ways including:
Wellness
Our staff provide assistance in the wellness center alongside our school social workers. Our goal is to provide a seamless day of support for students in order to meet their social and emotional needs. We bring the SFUSD philosophy of restorative practices to all our programs in order to create cohesive alignment with El Dorado Elementary School.
Literacy
Our full time literacy staffers support El Dorado’s school wide goals of increasing all students fluency with reading and writing. R.O.C.K. staff work alongside El Dorado teachers to provide support during the school day, and to run extra literacy programming after school and during the summer in order to provide our students with extra support when needed.
Outdoor Education
A pillar of R.O.C.K. programming revolves around expanding opportunities for our youth in Visitacion Valley. In order to achieve this goal, R.O.C.K. provides nature and outdoor adventure activities for students and families alike. Every year we bring students on fun excursions to places like Yosemite and the Lake Tahoe area in order to expose them to activities such as rock climbing, fishing, white water rafting, hiking, and more!
Summer Program
Summer Go Camp is R.O.C.K.’s summer program for elementary-aged children. The program operates weekdays offering children active learning opportunities in fun settings. We provide activities such as hiking, gardening, sports, arts and crafts, dance, and more. In addition to this we go on exciting field trips such as to the Zoo, the movies, aquariums, parks and more!
Weekend Programming
On the weekends, R.O.C.K. leads programming for the whole family! You can find us at Skill Drills leading 6 week sports clinics for youth featuring sports like basketball, volleyball and soccer! While you wait, families can participate in fun activities such as Zumba!
