The Museum Ambassador Program

Since 1982 the Fine Arts Museums have been offering jobs to San Francisco high school students and preparing them to become peer teachers in their communities. In December 2004, The Ambassador Program won the “Coming Up Taller” award, the nation’s highest honor for after school and out-of-school programs that use arts and humanities to enrich the lives of children. Lincoln High School has had a Museum Ambassador Team every year since 1998. If you are interested, speak to the sponsor, Ms. Melander
