Gay-Straight Alliance

The Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is a club open to all students. Our mission is to empower young people and adults to speak out against all forms of hate and oppression. Through education, consciousness-raising and story-telling, students in the GSA are taught the negative and harmful impacts of hateful language and other forms of bullying. Members of the GSA are encouraged to speak out when they hear their peers using hurtful language. They are also encouraged to invite these students to come to our GSA meeting on Tuesdays to learn how their words impact others.

We hope that our presence as an active club at Everett will encourage others to analyze their own actions and behaviors. We embody what Gandhi stood for:
