District Employee Housing

Shirley Chisholm Village Housing Development

Coming Soon in Fall 2024!

Shirley Chisholm Village will provide 135 affordable rental units for families and individuals in San Francisco and will prioritize San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) educators, other SFUSD district employees, and applicable San Francisco Housing Preferences.

Lottery results are here!

You should be able to log into your DAHLIA account to see your randomly-generated lottery ranking, or visit the rental listing for Shirley Chisholm Village (https://housing.sfgov.org/listings/a0W4U00000NlolaUAB) and click "Lottery Results" to view your ranking number by looking up your DAHLIA application number.

Leasing agents from MidPen Housing will be contacting applicants by order of lottery ranking. MidPen Housing is the owner and property manager of Shirley Chisholm Village.  The MidPen leasing team will contact applicants using the contact information provided in applications submitted on DAHLIA.  Having a higher lottery ranking number does not necessarily mean that you will not be contacted about leasing. The next several months will be a complex process of verifying applicant incomes and matching eligibility to the units available at Shirley Chisholm Village.

Lottery applications were available from April 2 to 23, 2024 on DAHLIA, the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) Housing Portal. A second round is planned for Summer/Fall 2024.
