Check out new monthly resources for the month of March from Seesaw that can expand your bank of resources to teach grammar and differentiate with instructional scaffolds in subject areas such as ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Computer Science. These are free resources in your Seesaw library and many of these resources are available in Spanish!

Join us this Friday, Mar. 29 for Lalaga Le Ato (Weaving the Basket), an event which brings together 5th & 8th graders in the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Community as they prepare for their academic transition to 6th & 9th grade in the fall.

Currently recruiting for 2024-25, especially Secondary English Teachers looking to be part of an innovative model! The Mission Bay Hub is a high school program that prepares students in the fields of health, life sciences, and other STEM fields that are thriving in Mission Bay.  We will be hiring a second full time teacher team (ELA and Biological Sciences) as well as a Head Counselor as we expand our program and grow into our new facility in Fall 2025!

To receive meals at your program held on an SFUSD campus this summer, please complete this application by March 29, 2024. This application is intended to be completed by the summer program manager or coordinator (NOT the families enrolled in the program). SNS cannot guarantee meal service on the first day of summer programming if your program completes the application after the deadline.

The Procurement Department currently has limited Purchasers. There is a two-week, or ten business-day, delay in processing purchase orders. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. In the meantime, we are in the process of replacing those positions.

Ensuring the safety of everyone within our school community, including employees, students, and visitors, remains our paramount concern. It has recently come to our attention that occasional displacements and trip hazards are present on city sidewalks surrounding our facilities. We would like to request you support in reporting sidewalk problems.

On Saturday, May 4, 2024, CAA will bring together students, parents/guardians, educators, and other local community members for a 1-day convening to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Lau v. Nichols, reflect on current gaps for multilingual learners and families, and share opportunities for continued advocacy.
