Mission & Vision

Tenderloin Community School partners with families & community organizations to provide culturally responsive instruction & supports so that all students will be successful independent learners.

We disrupt systemic inequities in education that historically have impacted our African American, Latinx and English Learner students. Our families are the experts on their children and are critical partners toward ensuring we prepare students to be successful lifelong learners. We leverage healing centered, culturally responsive practices and neighborhood resources to promote independent learning in a community context.
