We are proud that Spring Valley has been honored as a California Distinguished School and received an award from the U.S. Department of Education of Excellence in Education. A number of our staff have received awards for excellence in teaching and have been leaders in implementing science curriculum. 

Science is the lens through which we support our students to better understand the world around them. Children are natural born scientists that approach everything with curiosity and excitement. We use science to capture that love of learning to develop stronger collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creative skills.
