Jefferson Early Education School

Jefferson Early Education School is located in the Sunset area of San Francisco and serves preschool children from ages 3 to 5 in its two classrooms. Our center is a community of learners where children, staff, and parents work closely to provide a safe and stimulating learning community.

We provide learning strategies to prepare all students for Kindergarten by offering multicultural sensitivity and implementing a “creative curriculum” environmental approach in alignment with California Preschool Learning Foundations in English language development, universal design, social-emotional development, language and literacy, and mathematics.

Classroom activities include cooking, gardening, neighborhood walks, guest speakers, music and movement, and projects. The center also has numerous family activities, such as open house pizza night, Kindergarten enrollment workshops, a winter performance and potluck, Lunar New Year celebrations, family take-home activities, family field trips, parent-child music classes, graduation ceremonies, and parent education workshops.
