LEAD
Our department consists of teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists who are committed to supporting all of the students of George Washington High School. Our focus is on supporting students who receive Special Education services according to their IEP (Individualized Education Plan). Students we directly support have a variety of learning differences and/or disabilities. Students are either included all day in General Education classes and supported by Special Education teachers and/or paraprofessionals or they are in Special Education classes for part of the day and general education classes for part of the day. Students also participate in community based instruction and other programs.
