Join the San Francisco Fire Department and San Francisco Safe Routes to School on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. for a bike ride to celebrate firefighters and their families for their efforts around the city! The bike ride will begin at Panhandle Park and will end at the 14 Ave E. Meadow- where a fire truck will be available to explore to the public!

3rd-5th graders and their teachers are invited to a free Literacy Festival on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at San Francisco City Hall. Students will be engaging with "love of reading" themed workshops and programming with Bay Area and California-based authors and artists, ranging from writing and illustrating books, to songwriting and podcasting. The deadline to sign up is Nov. 8, 2024.
