SFUSD is preparing to enroll students for next school year. The Enrollment Center, which oversees student assignments for the district, mailed letters to more than 14,000 students on Friday, March 17, 2024, primarily incoming Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, 6th grade and 9th grade students.

Superintendent Dr. Matt Wayne announced the pilot schools that will offer Algebra 1 in eighth grade in the 2024-25 school year, as well as new details in supporting all middle and K-8 schools to provide access to Algebra 1 for students next year.
