On behalf of the entire Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Academic Middle School Community, the Committee for Student Support commits to:
· Establishing student support services to promote positive student outcomes;
· Providing structures to support students and teachers in maximizing student engagement;
· Linking students with services to develop the whole child;
· Creating an environment based on Restorative Practices allowing for Access & Equity, Student Achievement, and Accountability

Superintendent Dr. Vincent Matthews, Mayor London Breed and other elected officials will greet students returning to class as they begin the new year, and celebrate innovative approaches to the middle school experience.
