SFUSD support
Wellness Centers serve as conduits for youth services throughout the school district and city of San Francisco. District programs within the Student and Family Services Division (SFSD) as well as with Community-based organizations (CBOs) expand our capacity to reach students onsite with services targeting specific student populations and specific issues, such as grief and loss, substance use, reproductive health and healthy relationships.
Wellness is a program of SFSD and integrates existing SFSD district-wide programs such as,
- LGBTQ Support Services
- Foster Youth Services (FYS)
- Mentoring for Success (MFS)
- Refugee and Immigrant Supports in Education (RISE-SF)
- Comprehensive Health Education
In addition a number of students see clinical interns in group or individual sessions via the Student Intervention Team (SIT).
