Clinics available for required school vaccines

Dear SFUSD family,

We are writing because your child’s health records show that they are not up to date on the required immunizations for school. You must provide documentation for up-to-date immunizations, or proof of upcoming appointments for the required immunizations for your child to remain in school. If you have mailed or dropped off your records at your child’s school, please ignore this message.

To help with this, SFUSD is partnering with the San Francisco Department of Health (SFDPH) to provide immunization clinics on Aug. 20, and Aug. 22-27. A free meal will be provided to anyone who attends the Saturday clinics for back-to-school or COVID-19 vaccines! This includes all members of a family who attend with a child. (Note: the email did not specify that the free meals were only at Saturday clinics, we apologize for the oversight.)

Aug. 20, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Location: Southeast Health Center, 2401 Keith St. (Bayview/Hunter's Point)
  • Appointments: No appointments, walk in only
  • Eligibility: Open to all San Francisco residents who are children regardless of insurance or medical home. No requirement to be a SFHN patient. 
  • Vaccines: All vaccines required for school entry will be available. COVID vaccine will also be available.
  • Bring: Any vaccination records you have for your child. No ID necessary for caregivers or children. 

Aug. 22-26, 5-7 p.m.

  • Location: Zuckerberg San Francisco General, 1001 Potrero Ave., Main Building 5, 6th floor, 6M
  • Appointments: No appointments, walk in only
  • Eligibility: Open to all San Francisco residents who are children regardless of insurance or medical home. No requirement to be a SFHN patient. 
  • Vaccines: All vaccines required for school entry will be available. COVID vaccine will also be available.
  • Bring: Any vaccination records you have for your child. No ID necessary for caregivers or children. 

Aug. 27, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
