Mission Voices Summer (MVS) is a free four-week intensive arts program that gives youth artists ages 14-19 the opportunity to explore relevant social and personal issues through a visual arts intensive program that results in a group exhibition on view to the public.

SF Math Circle will be hosting an in-person math festival for 2nd-8th grade students this Sat. May 11 at San Francisco State University.

SUN Bucks, also known as Summer EBT (S-EBT), is a new program to help families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer. Families will get $120 for each eligible child to buy groceries during the summer.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6 to May 10, and SFUSD wants to thank and celebrate all the teachers in SFUSD this week and all year long.

Monthly automated Truancy letters will be posted to Synergy on Friday, May 10. Families and schools can ensure that attendance data is correct and complete by following this guidance.
