Zaccho Dance Ensemble is a new pre-professional opportunity for dancers (14-18 years old) in the SF Bay Area community to hone their dance skills via professional dance training and performance opportunities under the renown and innovative company Zaccho Dance Theater. Dancers of Zaccho Dance Ensemble will be encouraged to be well versed in a variety of dance styles, but primarily focus on Modern/contemporary and African diasporic styles including but not limited to hip hop, Afrobeats and traditional African dances. Award winning professional dancer, choreographer and educator Erik K. Raymond Lee serves as Artistic Director.
