Superintendent Dr. Matt Wayne hosted a virtual town hall on Thursday, Oct. 10 for the SFUSD community to share updates on our budget crisis, proposals to eliminate our structural deficit and retain local control of our schools, and our initial thinking about why closing or merging some schools could result in a better educational experience for students.
