Regina Piper
Regina Piper’s educational leadership spans thirty years and includes: elementary special education teacher, teacher on special assignment and Supervisor within the Special Education Services Department of SFUSD, a Director and Executive Director of Principal Leadership & Support on the Leadership, Equity, Achievement and Design (LEAD) team working with PK-8 schools in SFUSD. In this recent role, Regina worked to provide supervision, coaching and guidance to school administrators on aspects of operational/managerial, inclusive-facilitative & instructional leadership in order to build effective collaboration structures and teaching practices that enhance student learning outcomes and cultivate deeper partnerships with families. She is also a parent with three children who attended our schools in SFUSD, K-12!
As the Assistant Superintendent of Special Education Services, Ms. Piper is dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to high quality and rigorous learning experiences that are affirming and meaningful. Regina is looking forward to working with others within the Special Education Services Department and across the district to create conditions in all schools that lead to inclusive and impactful learning experiences for all students in SFUSD.
