Assistant Superintendent of Labor Relations

Conrad Tanasychuk is the Assistant Superintendent of Labor Relations at SFUSD where he will oversee all aspects of labor relations. Most recently, Conrad was with West Contra Costa Unified School District where he oversaw labor relations including negotiating collective bargaining agreements, addressing labor disputes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Conrad's prior experiences also includes practicing law in Minnesota for over 17 years and private sector labor relations. He is student-centered and fosters a collaborative work environment that respects the rights and needs of all our employees and labor partners.
Conrad holds a Juris Doctorate from Hamline University and a Masters of Arts in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota. Conrad has taught as an adjunct professor and guest lectured in the areas of labor relations and negotiations.
