RAI Composite and Metric Scores for All Schools

Cells colored by standardized scores within each column.

Note: Composite scores were calculated using weights for categories and metrics. Equity, excellence, and efficiency received category weights of 0.5, 0.25, and 0.25, respectively. Within the equity category, school access, program access, and historical inequity received metric weights of 5.0, 4.4, and 2.6, respectively. Within the excellence category, academic performance, social-emotional learning, and school culture and climate received metric weights of 4.8, 3.3, and 3.9 respectively. Within the efficiency category, family choice and demand, teacher turnover, enrollment, and building condition received metric weights of 3.9, 2.6, 2.9, and 2.5, respectively. The resultant composite score was scaled by the product of its standard deviation and 175 to give the measure a desirable range between 1-100. Category weights were determined by the District Advisory Committee in coordination with the Superintendent. Metric weights were established through a district-wide community survey.
